Beginner Wheel Course

For students ready to learn to throw in a relaxed and calm environment, this course offers an in-depth focus on form, function, and design for beginners. Led by Lucy Be. Ceramics, renowned for her mastery in crafting exquisite teapots, this class will help you develop the skills needed to throw.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
you will explore the nuanced techniques of throwing forming and trimming pots as well as glaze and surface decoration. You will also be lead through the intricate process of attaching handles for cups and jugs.
Gain valuable knowledge that will enhance your overall pottery practice and contribute to the success of your creations.
All materials, tools and tuition are included in the course fees.
REFUND POLICY:
If your class is unable to go ahead you will receive a full refund, if you cannot attend your class we cannot offer a credit or refund but can transfer your course to a friend.
If you miss a class during your course, you are able to make up the time in open studio on a Friday or Saturday.
WHERE:
Courses are all held at Northern Rivers Pottery Supplies. The large, inspriring and fully equipped pottery studio is located in Goonellabah industrial estate, at 31 Centenary drive, the row of sheds is in between Ongmac and Bumblebees, our studio is next door to Foot Finesse.
YOUR TEACHER:
Lucy. Be: Lucy has a BA (Hons) Ceramic Design, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, UK and is a celebrated ceramicist with a specialty in teapots, known for her impeccable craftsmanship and playful, nostalgic designs. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and she has just recently received the 'Highly Commended' in the Toy Story category in the Sydney Teapot show.
