Raven Esque - Teacher
Ravens Esque has a background in hard and soft sculpture, textiles, art finishing, and design.
After immersing himself in various industries to hone his skills, Raven embarked on a transformative break to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art at the National Art School in Sydney.
Upon completing his studies, Raven established his studio on Arakwal country, on the outskirts of the town of Mullumbimby. Here, he delved into the world of Wood fired kiln technologies, pushing personal boundaries of ceramic artistry by crafting tableware and sculptures that bore the mark of his collaboration with the wood fired kilns Raven built.
Over a decade of experimentation and dedication to his craft, Raven honed his skills, feeling a deep sense of fulfilment in his artistic pursuits. Raven aims t encourage students to embrace their creativity, push boundaries, and forge their path in the world of ceramics.
