Hand Building | Image Transfer and the Ceramic Surface.
8 Week Immersive Course - Tuesday's 10:00 - 3:00
In this hand building course students will activate the ceramic surface with a range of image transfer processes. Combinging a range of ceramic techniques including:
- Imprinting
- Silk screen printing
- Mono printing
- Paper resists
- Plaster sprig mould making
- Plaster hump mould making
- Using hump moulds with raised line imprinting
Students will produce exciting and innovative vessels and images unique to each student’s artistic voice.
YOU WILL NEED:
The cost includes all materials, clay, tuition and firing.
No prior ceramics experience is necessary, this course is appropriate for complete beginners and those who have prior learning and experience with ceramics.
Studenta will need to bring:
- A sketch pad or Paper
- 5 X A4 sized images
- Drawings or photographs to transcribe to the ceramic surface
- 5 Small objects (approximately 5cm at the widest point) for sprig moulding.
MISSED CLASSES & REFUNDS:
If your class is unable to go ahead you will receive a full refund, if you cannot attend your course we cannot offer a refund or credit for another course but please contact us and you may transfer your booking to a friend. If you miss a week you are able to make up the time in the studio during studio access hours on Friday and Saturday.
