Two-Day Beginners Wheel Throwing Workshop

Looking for a creative escape? Join us for two inspiring Sundays on the pottery wheel!

What you'll learn:

Under the expert guidance of Lucy Be, this hands-on workshop will teach you the essentials of wheel throwing, including:

• Preparing clay for throwing
• Centering clay on the wheel
• Shaping cylinders and bowls
• Trimming your pieces
• Adding handles
• Applying colorful slip for surface decoration

Lucy will share her tips and techniques for creating your own unique designs, making this the perfect course for beginners eager to explore the pottery wheel.

What’s Included:

• All materials: clay, tools, and colored slips
• Expert tuition from Lucy Be
• Bisque and glaze firing for your pieces

Your work will be food-safe and functional, ready to collect 3-4 weeks after the course.

Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (both days)
Location: Northern Rivers Pottery Supplies
31 Centenary Drive, Goonellabah Industrial Estate
The large, fully equipped pottery studio is in a row of sheds next to Foot Finesse, between Ongmac and Bumblebee Daycare.

Tea and coffee are provided. Please bring your own lunch and snacks, as nearby food options are limited.

Refund Policy:

If the class cannot proceed, you’ll receive a full refund. If you’re unable to attend we cannot provide refunds or credits for your course. In the situation that you cannot attend you can transfer your booking to a friend by contacting us.
