500ml brush-on glaze. Midfire cone 6–8. Can be fired to cone 10, with changes to the glaze appearance. Australian made for potters and developed in our Northern Rivers studio.

This glaze was almost called Frozen because of its songstress-ice-queen energy (never pass up a chance to reference a Disney musical). But then I stumbled across a blue lace agate in a shop selling gems and incense- because, Northern Rivers - and instantly saw this glaze mirrored in the rare stone: matte-smooth surface, depth, icy blue, soft bands of white. A ceramic glaze with mineral heritage.

Blue lace agate is all about communication, clarity, and having your voice heard. Throat chakras, inner strength, self-expression …Actually, there are some Elsa plot parallels.

Basically, this glaze helps your ceramics stay calm under emotional pressure - intuitive, honest, and serene. It’s quietly confident, cool-toned, but contemporary.

Perfect for: pieces that like to align their chakras but also show up on time.

*Potter’s Note:
Blue Lace Agate is a microcrystalline glaze — as it cools, tiny crystals form across the surface, creating soft tonal shifts and that signature silky depth. These microcrystals become more pronounced when the kiln cools slowly through roughly 1050 °C to 850 °C, revealing the gentle, light blue lace-like patterning that gives this glaze its name.
