500ml brush-on glaze. Midfire cone 6–8. Can be fired to cone 10, with changes to the glaze appearance. Australian made for potters and developed in our Northern Rivers studio.

A rich, electric blue with a wild streak, a colour that could charm monkeys out of palm trees and make Frida herself nod in approval. Azul is a love letter to Casa Azul: vivid, unapologetic, and a little bit sun-drunk.

It’s got that “painted-walls-in-the-heat-of-summer” energy — matte, saturated, and dramatic in all the right ways. There’s nothing shy about this colour; it’s pure joy with a strong sense of self. 

Perfect for: a jug that likes to host long lunches in the shade of banana leaves, probably wearing big gold earrings.
